I Have A Forever Home :o) Thank You IBR

I found my forever family today. There are three boys I can play with. When I went to meet them, they threw me a ball and I went after it! They have a nice yard to play in and I have a sister now too. Her name is Lucy Lu Lu. She came from Ilinois Birddog Rescue too. My next door neighbors are two very big German Shepards. They bark alot, but I don't bark back. I just ignore them, like a good boy.

If Illinois Birddog Rescue didn't take me under their angel wing, after someone found me, I don't know where I'd be right now. They make sure that every dog has a chance for a forever home. They have wonderful foster homes that take care of us and love us and try to find the perfect home for us to be happy ever after. Illinois Birddog Rescue is a doggy's angel. I'm so lucky. Thank you IBR for everything.

I'd like to think that my other foster friends can find their forever homes soon too. They really want to love someone forever. Please vist them at Illinois Birddog Rescue's site. It's just a click away.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have made big progress in the 2 short weeks I've been in my foster home. I am no longer afraid of being left alone. I have found that toys aren't a bad thing to occupy my time with. I sleep through the night with my foster brother and sisters. I have figured out that eating from a food bowl is much better than the floor. The pieces stay in one place and much easier to eat :o) I'm not clingy to my foster parent anymore. I like going for walks on a leash, there is so much to see. The birds are the best! I met little kids and they're cool.

Want to see my first movie? It's not the best quality, but it will show you how I play outside

    Check this out.

    Hi, I'm Kipp

I'm staying with a foster family right now, but I'm looking for that special family to love forever. I don't know much about my past, except I was found by some really nice lady who saved me and Karly off a bridge of a 4 lane highway in Illinois. We don't know how we got to that point, or why, but that doesn't matter any more. I just want to focus on giving that special family the bestest dog they ever had. ME!!

I'm maybe a year old, if that. I stand 24 inches tall and weigh 41 lbs. I'm a little thin right now, but my foster mom is trying to fatten me up. I have orange, brown and black on my ears, and some darker spots on my back, but they haven't come to the surface yet.

I have lots of love to give, and in time, I will learn to play with toys. Right now, I'm not sure about those kind of things. I'm still trying to feel out the gang. I've only been here a couple days and it's a lot to take in all at once.

But get me to my forever home, and I'll be in 7th heaven. I can't wait to learn all sorts of new things. Go for walks, play with toys, maybe I can hunt birds! There are so many things I'm willing to try. Will you give me the chance?

You can find me and lots of other doggie friends at Illinois Birddog Rescue. The link is

  • Hope to meet you soon.

    Nap Time

I like to snuggle with my foster dad and together we can do some pretty good naps in the chair. I do sleep in a doggie bed or the floor or even furniture. But if you don't want me on the furniture, I'll get off. It's okay.

    Getting To Know Everyone

In my foster home, I have 4 other girls, yuck!, and another boy to hang around with. When my foster mom gets out those treats we all go wild around her feet.

And when it's bed time, we all hang out in the family room. It's advised that humans walk with great caution and NOT in the dark. :o)
